Treatment Formats

Consultations are one-time appointments to assist a client in determining if counseling would be helpful, what other modalities for help may be appropriate, and for simple feedback or advice on an issue.

Ongoing counseling is for individuals, families, or in group formats. Such counseling sessions are typically one-hour in length, at our offices, and continue for 3 to 10 weeks.

Short-term intensive therapy is designed for those who would like to take a brief break (2-5 days) from their normal lives in order to address therapeutic issues quickly and efficiently. Typically, clients take off work and come for 1-3 hours of therapy per day, using the rest of their time for reflection and relaxation. This type of therapy is particularly helpful for those recovering from trauma, but can also be used for marital, family, or recovery from childhood issues. If the client would like a place to stay during this retreat and therapy time, our office works in conjunction with a local retreat center as well as some local hotels depending on preference and budget. Please call our office for details.

Internet counseling is available for all three types of sessions (treatment formats) mentioned above. For clients who are far away, unable to come to our offices, or prefer not to come to our offices, we provide therapy via the internet (skype). Please contact the therapist you wish to work with directly to arrange for this type of appointment.

We work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief counseling to parenting support, couples counseling and beyond. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, we offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of our client's individual needs to help attain the personal growth they’re striving for.
